“How an animal lived doesn’t matter.”
Every cell in your body is built from the food you eat.
Why wouldn’t the life behind that food matter too?
I’ve started wondering if we’ve reduced food to calories and macros… and forgotten that it was once alive.
One animal spent its life confined under constant stress. ❌
Another spent its life on pasture, moving with its herd and living the way it evolved to live. ✅
Of course they’ll produce different meat.
What I keep wondering is whether those differences shape us in ways we’re only beginning to understand.
Not just nutritionally.
But psychologically too. 🧐
Before there were multivitamins…
There were organ meats.
Somewhere along the way, we started looking for nutrients in bottles instead of food.
This week, before you buy another supplement…
Ask yourself:
Could this be food instead?
Try some liver this week 👀
