Reflecting on this year, and just life in general. What a strange thing to experience. All the feelings, the ups and downs. The feeling of pain from loss, and the feeling of love and gratitude. A few people from my graduation class have passed this year. It seems we are all leaves on a tree during fall. Dropping off one by one, two by two. Some sooner, others later. I wonder how many more of them i’ll see before i’m the one that falls off the tree. It used to scare me a lot. But now seeing as it’s where we all go. I’ve made peace with it. But for now let’s enjoy life, the tree and the weather. The families and friends. The loneliness of having no one. Whatever it may be let’s soak it in while we are still hanging onto this tree called life. Happy New Year :-)
