During Ramadan, I didn’t feel sick even once.
Honestly, I felt pretty good the whole time.
No palpitations, no dizziness.
Alhamdulillah.
This year’s suhoor made a big difference —
I kept it simple with a bamboo steamer dish every day, and my body felt so much better.
MEMO:
I just picked about four kinds of vegetables I like and rotated them.
For dipping, I used mayonnaise (soy-based, cholesterol-free) mixed with good olive oil from Türkiye, lemon, and whole-grain mustard.
I even steamed bagels with the vegetables — they turn perfectly soft and chewy.
And I drank plenty of mint tea.
also had oats with nuts and raisins from Afghanistan,
with yogurt on top,
and finished with Afghan mountain honey.
