When I started running my own LN node I had a lot of problems with even payments of just 100k sats regularly failing. I could only make very small payments and that while having more than enough outbound liquidity. This was still the case until some weeks ago. Curiously, I now have less channels and liquidity, but since a week or two I have been sending various bigger payments and they are all successful on the first try, haven’t had any failure and with considerably bigger amounts. Anyone else had this experience lately and is it the network becoming better with more reliable nodes and liquidity? Or did I just made some better peer/channel/liquidity choices that worked well for the payments I have been making?
