Jeez, why am I hearing the voices of both Yuri Bezmenov and Bryan Lunduke in the background while noticing the redditors' stuff? Like they are debating.
Don't be fooled, nostriches. Whatever tech stack you choose or FOSS project you decide to use/contribute to doesn't automatically mean you join to support the particular project leader's political agenda.
Same with writing in a particular programming language—it's not identical to supporting or hating a particular minority. Or using satellites for internet access is not agreeing with Elon on something. Even paying taxes is not identical to agreeing with your government. Such black-and-white thinking is a sign of immaturity.
We can't avoid all interdependencies with everyone we disagree with. We'd be something different from a society otherwise: some much more dysfunctional scattered pieces, not interacting with each other at all.
Be your own leader; express your independent positions on things. And don't overdo conflicts: productive conflicts help us to discover more truths, not to separate us even more. Especially when the other side is under too heavy pressure already, better focus more on what possibly unites us rather than separates.
