what... the... fuck.... I did not expect this, now is the time to focus on a proper protocol I suggest taking a look at nostr:npub1whtn0s68y3cs98zysa4nxrfzss5g5snhndv35tk5m2sudsr7ltms48r3ec so far all private messaging apps failed, and they did not integrate bitcoin or monero but went ahead with their own tokens smh (session -> oxen, signal -> mobilecoin, telegram -> TON, simpleX -> SIMPX) we almost got Molly, the signal fork, but they ditched the Monero integration and used the monero bounty only to fund themselves something built on nostr, and with bitcoin and monero (real money) integrated has a much better chance of succeeding Cheers simpleX ✌ another one bites the dust nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzq0gex2fs960w9ghk3dcm5630l8ry2547exlfyvjkhct4g9a80lmgqy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcqyzhjah7u5htcahusf785ue0ra5hem0cnqkjx5asacfvryuf9jx0c56rtrd4

https://simplex.chat/token/ Dumb if they follow through without talking to us here first. People that brought thousands to the app when no one cared. But to me this reads like they are still open for ideas. Done correctly this might indeed be a good idea to incentivise some server infrastructure like with relays in Nostr. If done wrongly they will get forked and can say goodbye to their app at large. If someone is in contact with Evgeny I'd love to have him here to brainstorm some ideas.

Literally the only thing holding me back from white noise as a main comm is that I can't use amber with it, I have to give it an nsec. I do use it, but with a different npub (in my kind 0) for white noise only for security reasons. When that's fixed I'm probably going to begin using it a lot.
