This is the only relevant question about him, the very fork in the road that divides those who believe him from those who do not. He claimed divinity in nearly every interaction, especially with the leaders and authorities. The Scriptures repeatedly emphasize his deity. "He who has the Son, has the Father also; who has not the Son, has not the Father also." Christians and Muslims do not believe in the same God. The Christian God--the only one there is--is eternally Triune. Full Stop. Abraham's God is Triune--there is, therefore, only one 'Abrahamic Faith'. All the other peripheral agreements or disagreements fall away before this one. The Son of God, "infinite, eternal, and unchangable", equal with the Father and the Spirit "in his being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth"--the "same in substance, equal in power and glory"--this is not a side question. It is *the* question. Anyone who says otherwise is plain wrong.
