This coldcard fiasco was an attack primarily against plebs. The ones who thought they were doing what was responsible and necessary but didnt feel like a big enough target to go too crazy with it. I am included in that camp. I thought i was already doing more than most and my setup was good enough. The tourists on exchange and etf suitcoiners are safe. I can understand if anyone needs to take a moment, but please remember that it is in these tough adversarial moments where fortitude is built. We plebs are the ones who have the most to gain from bitcoins success and the most to lose if we fuck it up. Bitcoin is more than just money, it is a tool to enable freedom in its many forms. Do not give up the fight because for the first time in this war, we the plebs have been direclty and selectively attacked. Its easy to laugh at memecoiners getting rugged but this is the first time its truly happened to us at scale. Stay the course and rebuild stronger than before. Learn from all of this. The future really does depend on it because if the plebs give up, then the dream of a better world is lost. We are all that stands stalwart against the tide of oppression, greed and unchecked power.

Jesus turned to his disciples and basically said, will you leave too? They answered, where else would we go. This is Bitcoin right now. Do we give up? No, where else is there sound money. I'll continue with both Jesus and Bitcoin. I suggest this for all.
Everything happens for a reason, even money loss or illness. It is up to us to transcend it. Maybe if this didnt happen to those who did lose money, they would lose more in the future. Maybe this was a cosmic protection from that. Every crisis and disaster is a lesson. There are many lessons to be learned here, not only by users, but especially hardware wallet manufacturers, and any developers in the space. Minimize trust Get a second set of eyes Dont be a dick, help eachother.
