If I was making a normie facing Nostr client geared towards normies, I would have the sign up page say sign up with email, sign up without email (nostr). It allows normies to have the familiar normie social media experience without scaring them away, and then a few pages in after setting up their profile, have a page that says, this is your master key/password, you can use this to sign into the client if you lose access to your email, and phone number, please write it down, and keep it safe, you can use this password to login in (your client name), or with Nostr at any time. And have a blue highlighted link, ? Symbol, or Dropbox that says what is nostr, that explains nostr too.
