Deep breath, the assisted dying bill in the UK made me shudder when I heard the run through the implications. MPs donβt have a clue what theyβre doing.
How long before they start calling people mentally ill because they don't want to get vaccinated or see the doctor? When will they start saying people who don't have certain beliefs e.g. Climate Change or Communism are too ill to know their own mind and would be better off dead? When will they say that if you can't make your pension or savings pay for your life then death is the way forward? This is a very slippery slope we are sliding down...
1.2 T in 20 years is not even that much. $50M a year is chump change.
Canada will be spending $7.5T in the next 20 years, by labeling everyone mentally ill and killing them can save them 20% doesnβt make any sense.
Madness.

There is already a name for this over here. "Querdenker" (Lateral thinker) is a person who "doesn't comply with society". Basically means anyone who doesn't eat whatever they're being told is (almost) a threat to society and obviously can't think clear - mentally ill.
we need more clown world, not less...bring the acceleration

Chump change, maybe
at the highest level, it's all about numbers and money π°
where I live a mental ill person cost money for the government (because they spending money on supportive organisations, buildings,...)
Most of them can't find good support, but that's another topic/issue
when you donβt have empathy, because some people are on a psychological spectrum,
then it does make sense, it's faster to save money, they believe more in survival of the fittest (adapt or die), supporting people who are weak "in their mind", the weak are simply unlucky.
Purely rational (objectively), nature can be cruel, my opinion: "yes, but it doesn't mean we don't have to be empathetic or supportive towards people with more adversity"
I have also experience this in sports, when you are good in sport, you get to hear what people really thinkπ³ππ³, many who are good in sports look down on others who are not good at sports, usually
they express this to internal groups (friends/acquaintances or people of the same level or higher level)
this is a nasty, ugly truth of human nature, every person sees the world differently, and our own success can work intoxicating or blind us.
Huh?
I don't understand. What do you mean?
the population needs to feel max pain in order to create enough malcontents to have the revolution
Unfortunately
