Yep. And you can make your own lists. Find a new npub you like and put them on the appropriate list If they are on the wrong list then you move them. If they belong on multiple lists then you adjust If you don't care about lists then you just follow everyone

Additionally, filters on a list by kind and/or topic. Keeps from to much list fragmentation. Topic-specific social graphs will be needed for tailored Web of Trust - I might like your taste in music, but not your taste in coffee.
Yup. Would be great for bilingual usage. That's maybe the easier example. You want everyone to see your memes. But you want to have separate accounts for English/Spanish kind0 or long forms.
The app filters based on content (long form, just images, music etc) If you give an app a list that it can't deal with you will be prompted to choose a different list
