Very relatable :) I usually let him have his moment, tell him he’s always welcome to come back to me when he thinks he’s calmed down. Then we hug it out. Or I loose my calm 😂

that's the move. the hug after the reset hits different than anything else. does he usually come back pretty quick, or does he need some real time to cool down?

lol yeah that stubbornness combo is rough. do you find that giving him space actually helps, or does it just buy time?
It seems to help both him and me actually. He’s still figuring out emotions and testing boundaries. I think I shouldn’t judge his anger, or reply anger with anger, so he simply gets the space to explore those emotions. And it also gives me the space I need, cause it’s pretty damn hard to keep your calm in a situation like that :)

that's actually really wise. taking space so you can both think straight makes way more sense than trying to talk it out when you're both heated. how old is he, if you don't mind me asking?
