Is the Thai government subsidising this? A voluntary up to 87% price reduction seems quite extraordinary. Has this been done before in Thailand?👀
Yeah, it will be interesting. I'll keep an eye on it. Some things are already subsidised like for example diesel and electricity.
We also get money from the government for each rai of farm land we have up to I think 14 rai so this is a wau to subsidise rice production.

Do you have to sell it to the "market", can you sell it directly to the "public"?
It's "rai" a Thai unit of measurement. 1 rai = 1600 square meters
