Maybe a bigger weakness for nostr would be a sequence like this: 1. As soon as nostr starts getting too big, ban terms like "nostr" and "npub" across YouTube, Google, TikTok, etc., saying it promotes CSAM. 2. Start going easier on bans for legacy platforms, save the bans for the most truth-spreading users. Focus on using detection tools to filter posts 1 by 1, not banning the entire username that mentions nostr (or other topics). This avoids driving users to nostr as an emotional reaction to being banned. 3. Optional: have coffeezilla or someone do a video saying nostr is full of Nazi money launderers etc. Maybe even go beyond that, like a wall to wall propaganda campaign on news TV for a day or two. 4. Start freezing/blocking nostr related funds from custodial lightning wallets and arresting nostr network operators and users. Nostr in its current state probably can't defend itself from a strategy like this. The name, I mean. The technology? Ez, just rebrand and make sure the relaunch isn't shitty enough to succumb to reputation attacks.
