I guess we see it somewhat differently. Man seeks to do “good” thinking that his works are good enough to earn him rewards. This is not a biblical view. One cannot earn his way into heaven. You’re right that some religions teach war and not peace. It matters not what building you attend church in, what kind of cross or symbol one subscribes to. The message of the gospel of Jesus Christ is one of love. He loved us first. The question boils down to what is our response to Him? No amount or religion or human can change a heart, only He can. Man conflates up every kind of reasoning and excuse and at the end of the day… “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Thankful for the peace that surpasses all understanding.
