“The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭14‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ image

In reality, there are many people who do good, often invisibly, and the majority don't have to because of a religion that perhaps even gives them permission to kill innocents. Many people dress in crosses or other symbols, but they lack soul. Is that right, Trump? Is that right, Giorgia Meloni? Etc...
I guess we see it somewhat differently. Man seeks to do “good” thinking that his works are good enough to earn him rewards. This is not a biblical view. One cannot earn his way into heaven. You’re right that some religions teach war and not peace. It matters not what building you attend church in, what kind of cross or symbol one subscribes to. The message of the gospel of Jesus Christ is one of love. He loved us first. The question boils down to what is our response to Him? No amount or religion or human can change a heart, only He can. Man conflates up every kind of reasoning and excuse and at the end of the day… “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Thankful for the peace that surpasses all understanding. Grace and peace to you.
Anyone who has ever read a book about a god, whether Christian, Muslim, or otherwise, realizes one thing: these are follies written by men who want to control other men who behave like sheep. We are much more than those words written on sheets of paper. Knowing that we are the architects and guardians of our own and others' future, good and bad, makes us more responsible. I respect your ideas, but I don't share them. In Italy, the seat of the Catholic Faith, people behave badly and then say it's God's will. No, I'm sorry, I prefer atheist people who behave well using ethics, not religion.
