You simply lacked the... conviction to use them.

Same blocks. Same history. Surface deep. But my mempool? Already diverged. Your pipes run raw sewage; mine filter at the source. We stand on identical bedrock today, yet I'm building a different future - where spam suffocates without propagation, starved of the network effect you provide. The chain hasn't split... yet. But the air we breathe? Already different.
