Amber support. Great, that's what I've been waiting for.
Anyone to test it?

I must be holding your app wrong. Whenever I give it a chance, it feels like sending messages into the void. Sometimes they show up hours later but I've never had anyone respond to a message that showed up in WN. Doesn't matter if I use Amber or not. π€¨
Here lets test it add me and send me a message

Starting to feel like WN is just a gaslighting operation. π«

Wanna try the other way around?

Sure I just sent you a message did you get it?
Nope, nothing.
I tried it with two new freshly signed up nostr accounts on different devices and it worked without a problem. Not sure why yours isn't. Try restarting and sign up with a fresh account instead of using this one? Just for troubleshooting purposes. I'm curious if it will work
Thanks man!

If you sent anything, I didn't get any.
I created new profile for testing on my devices.
Started some chat.
Now i notice, every npub i chat with are on my public follow list.
Is it normal?
Sorry I just saw this. Sent you a message
No, they only get added to your follow list if you click "add as contact" on the profile view.
Exactly I tapped on "add as contact" after I scanned the contact QR-code.
Thanks
Ok, it's not necessary to do that to start a chat.
We should make the UI more clear that this is public.
Yea still a lot to be desired, but to be fair they're still new and in uncharted territory. Right now my expectations are tempered because of that.
I'm a fan of what they're trying to do and still excited to see whats down the road though. Sure it will improve over time just have to be patient.
