The chance encounter opens your mind to new possibilities, but your character and your affections (the things you value) are what get you through the journey. The hardest journeys are the ones to which there is no end in sight. We are on that sort. Many of us older guys likely won't see the mature state of bitcoin, but what we do now will set that future up. 200 years ago, a bunch of self-governance visionaries stood on the shoulders of giants to presume they didn't need a king. We now stand on their shoulders saying we we don't need a banker. We will become the giants some future generation stands on to achieve some new great advance for freedom. Persevere and you can count on it.

I know that oh too well. But more people are unable to get themselves to start the journey than give up once it gets going.
