It started with something like luck, @HODL.
In the aftermath of the block size war, the number begain to head up towards 18k.
A guy on the radio in Dallas started talking about it. I wanted to hear about the Cowboys. I heard about bitcoin instead.
Over on Facebook, my cousin started talking about crypto. My wife follows him and started paying attention.
Then in Dec. 2017, I went to buy a new video card at Frys. No can do. All out of stock. Shitcoin miners were buying them all up.
I texted my cousin to see if this thing was legit. He said yes, and I set up my first bitcoin wallet.
That sounds a lot like either luck or Providence.
After that, it was up to me. That's when the universe stops talking and you start acting. Everything else that came after has been a ton of hard work and perseverance.
But I can't claim that it started because I was smart and intuitive. My experience with bitcoin began because it was repeatedly tossed at my feet. I just happened to be curious about what it was.
