Normies don’t even have that. Can’t imagine the hell they’ll go through when home prices go down and they struggle to pay their mortgage each month. Negative equity isn’t good for quality of sleep.
go to your castr.me page click the copy RSS feed button next to "subscribe to RSS Feed" and it will give you this RSS feed link. https://castr.me/npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs/rss.xml Then manually add that to any podcasting app. PodcastGuru is great at video so thats what I recommend. I also added it to podcastindex.org so it "might" show up in the podcast apps search under HODL but this is new ground were breaking here so your milage will vary. Here it is with all my other podcasts in PodcastGuru. image TLDR manually add the RSS Feed to PodcastGuru like we did in 2007. Also works the same for any castr.me Rss Feed.
A few families in SoCal won’t move now because they’ll get hit with massive property and sales tax. Here in London and Essex, the housing market has definitely turned. Way too overpriced, in a way the universe is trying to help people. TPTB just won’t put btc in the news here. We aren’t even allowed btc ETF’s.

100%. "Know thyself." Systems help. Helps gtd. Scalability is another. Very use to working large. Been almost 2 decades since I did anything independent. Considering the vlog. Small scale. Experimental. Fast. Got all the gear. Or something else. Don't know. But you've definitely set a trend.
It started with something like luck, @HODL. In the aftermath of the block size war, the number begain to head up towards 18k. A guy on the radio in Dallas started talking about it. I wanted to hear about the Cowboys. I heard about bitcoin instead. Over on Facebook, my cousin started talking about crypto. My wife follows him and started paying attention. Then in Dec. 2017, I went to buy a new video card at Frys. No can do. All out of stock. Shitcoin miners were buying them all up. I texted my cousin to see if this thing was legit. He said yes, and I set up my first bitcoin wallet. That sounds a lot like either luck or Providence. After that, it was up to me. That's when the universe stops talking and you start acting. Everything else that came after has been a ton of hard work and perseverance. But I can't claim that it started because I was smart and intuitive. My experience with bitcoin began because it was repeatedly tossed at my feet. I just happened to be curious about what it was.

NOSTR Series # 3 “You Got Lucky”

Watched for the intro song, stayed for the message. We don't need to tell anyone anything, just live life as well as we can and let that be the message
man these vlogs are gonna be sooo og one day 🫶 im thinking of doing something similar, although i spend most of my time working on my fund. lets see, keep this thing going on bud
People call it LUCK, but that’s only the surface. What they miss are the countless hours, the setbacks, and the persistence when no one is watching. Luck might open a door once, but only proof-of-work keeps it open. What looks like chance is really preparation meeting the moment! You are LEGENDARY, Sir 🔥 God Bless America! 🫡🇺🇸 View quoted note →

I've gotten so "lucky" in my sales career that when I tell others on my team how to get "lucky" they usually take the easy route and lose. Luck is eerily similar to proof of work View quoted note →
Awesome to present your (in my opinion) authentic self to the world. This is the HODL I know and admire the most, who helped me and many others like me, not to survive the bear market, but understand the opportunity as a literal fucking time machine, and stack ferociously. Keep ‘em coming, flex ing those film making chops.
Love it. I’ve just completely changed what I do on a daily basis because of the freedom Bitcoin gave me mentally. I haven’t made it but it just made me feel like I don’t need to do something I don’t want to do. Went from. Chef to running a rosin company. Oh boy Solutions.
This really resonates with me!! I’ve always put in the work to reach a high level no music and now I’m making new moves in Bitcoin this year and on Nostr this week! Very excited to see where this new input takes me!
Luck might spark the fire, but profession keeps it burning 🔥 Sir, You are professional 🫡
Haha love the intro man. There's a funny thing about believing you're lucky. If you believe that you're lucky, you are more open to receiving those opportunities that could be considered lucky. You're open to them & can execute on them as they present themselves to you. Yes - there's a lot of cope when people want to reduce all the decisions & actions that got you to where you are, all down to luck. They're adopting a kind of victim mindset inferring that because you're lucky, they must be unlucky. I was lucky before I found Bitcoin. Bitcoin just turned everything up a whole level. I could see the real cost behind my actions & it provided a new lens through which to view the world. I'm not a genius or particularly hardworking. Everything just kind of fell into place & a whole range of options just opened up for me. Call it luck or divine intervention, I'm eternally grateful & optimistic about the future. LFG 🔥🫂
Maybe I’m wrong but I remember you had said those who were close to you alienated themselves from you because you took the opportunity to get into bitcoin and got ahead of them. I’m hoping these relationships worked out. 🙏
I have amazing relationships with so many people these days but not every relationship from the past was able to be maintained.
People love to say ‘you got lucky.’ But luck never repeats. Systems, habits, and proof-of-work do. What looks random is really the math of persistence📌 Epic again, Sir! 🫡🔥 NOSTR Series # 3 “You Got Lucky” 🍀

Luck is a shortcut word. What people don’t see are the failures, the grind, and the discipline repeated daily. A lucky moment is just the visible tip of a much larger proof-of-work iceberg!!! "SO, DON'T CALL ME LUCKY! I FAILED MORE TIMES THAN YOU FUCKING TRIED 💢" Thank You For Sharing, Sir @HODL 🫡 View quoted note →
It is useful & motivating to get advice from those much further down the bitcoin road like npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs It can also be difficult to relate when you are struggling to get your fingernails into bitcoin & you are hustling for every sat Lately I have been getting a lot out of npub1ycvsxes7qfrmv897k8uqqfrwvj5efv0f282lxzacrdlglm8c2qrqm7jjgr 's ‘The Road To One Bitcoin' It's partly a nostalgic indulgence of a time much earlier in your bitcoin journey, but there is also an honesty & authenticity that is refreshing & very motivating Bitcoin is a river of returns flowing past your feet ... don't think of the price, think of the returns ... the sooner you dive in the faster your will be carried down stream Meanwhile, it's very satisfying to root for npub1ycvsxes7qfrmv897k8uqqfrwvj5efv0f282lxzacrdlglm8c2qrqm7jjgr https://www.youtube.com/@TheRoadToOneBTC View quoted note →
"𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤 is reactive! 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 is proactive!" A person who waits on luck may stumble forward once, but a person who sees clearly and persists shapes outcomes again and again. Vision creates direction, persistence gives it force. What looks like luck is usually just relentless alignment with purpose! Good Luck to y’all✨🍀 View quoted note →
Ok I’ll say it since no one else will. These Nostr vlogs are AI. I know artificial intelligized eyebrows when I see them. Either that or @HODL is just one handsome sonofabitch. Either way keep up the great work.

Well done! Branching realities 🙂
Note on that though, as you say in your V -Logs, really Bitcoin Itself doesn’t do that, it just provides a potential means to be able to self actualize for humanity. That change has got to occur within oneself first and foremost. It allows the return of internal locus of your control to a greater degree than we can with the bureaucratic fiat state of so many things today
You know what’s funny? Grass is so rare in the desert that the catwalk thing is literally there so you explicitly don’t step on it lol 😂 literally can’t touch grass here

we did some zap tests on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at btc@primal.net, over a period of 28 minutes. all six attempts were successful. please check on your end to be sure you received. average zap time was 265791ms (265.8 seconds). we consider this zap time slow... generally, zaps should complete in under two seconds. (other nostr users might think your zaps are broken, might not zap you again.) if you wanted to fix this... you could try getting a free rizful lightning address -- ... if u get it set up, pls reply here so we can do this ⚡zap test again.
"I just got lucky." I can't imagine a more cruel thing to say to someone who has nothing to show for the last 10 years of their life. To say "I just got lucky," is to tell them there's nothing they can do to make a better life. No matter what decisions they make, no matter how hard they work, none of that matters. There's nothing they can do. It's to say, "If luck doesn't smile on you, your life will be meaningless, and you will die miserabe and irrelevent." It's words of discouragement. To say "I just got lucky." Is to wish others harm.

Great message. I'm here because I woke up one day and realised I didn't like where my life was going. It's never too late to change direction, learn something new, do things differently. You don't have to have it all mapped out; take it one step at a time and let little everyday decisions compound in your favour View quoted note →

Wise words, brother. I really liked series #3.
Sometimes people get lucky when they are offered the opportunity to develop personal strength, resilience and personal wealth from loved ones dying traumatic deaths or suffering life limiting illnesses, from war, from childhood trauma, from permanent injuries, from a vast, humanity wide set of variables. We are all lucky to be on our paths. Life is a long winding path friens. Gratitude and humility are beautiful attributes
you were lucky to have the grit, lucky to have whatever you had that gave you the success that you got.

Raising kids is different. Nobody tells you that you got lucky when you have a huge family. (8+ kids) They know it's non-stop hard work 24/7. And when your children turn out to be amazing, smart, outgoing, healthy, and well rounded, they know that you of put in the work. No luck assumed by anyone.
Can I just say, thank you for bringing back horizontal videos. I’d much rather see your surroundings than your torso! (I’m sure you have a nice torso though)
