Nah, most people who own Bitcoin are holdlers who never spend their Bitcoin, in that case there is little reason to be running a node. Better would be: If you care about Bitcoin, use it!

Economic nodes have more influence, sure, but non-economic nodes aren’t useless. Even running a solo node makes you more sovereign than always relying on others’ nodes. You can verify the rules, more closely monitor updates, and in a worst-case scenario, help reboot the network with a full copy of Bitcoin’s history.
You’ll often hear Bitcoiners say, “Only economic nodes matter.” Economic nodes do have more influence, sure, but non-economic nodes aren’t useless.
