In the process of localizing Nostr related apps, I translated these to my native language. Snort in crowdin.com Damus in transifex.com Amethyst in github.com GetAlby in weblate.org Now I'm working on Zeus in transifex.com again. So far weblate was the worst and crowdin in the best platforme for translation. Crowding applies markdown correctly, Automaticly goes to the next string, Shows useful translation suggestion in the intended and other languages to compare, Copy/paste parts of the strings more conveniently, Autofixes punctuation and minor errors... It's altogether faster and easier and has a much better UI/UX. P. s. I've translated using plaine old ggl docs and word before, Don't talk about it and don't mention it, what is past is past!

Pleased to to help. Transifex is older, it has some of the needed features but it's not as easy to work with. I couldn't find a setting for auto-fix or auto shuffle. It is also not ideal with mixed RtL-LtR and markdown. It good overally, but I'm more comfotable with crowdin. Maybe other translators don't agree.

I may not be able to explain exactly what it is. But working with crowdin is easier. For instance it gets the carachters like %2$ as one and when I do the mixed rtl/ltr it wouldn't break it up and make a mess of the line. View quoted note →
