There are regional imbalances in the man/woman qualities between different regions of the US that I think you should know about.
The midwest imbalance favors men, a half-good man easily finds 20 women worth his time and a fully-good woman competes with a lot of competition. This spreads very far from Chicago and it's one of the heaviest, most noticeable imbalances in the entire country.
And "competing" is actually a completely wrong way to put it. The favored sex learns no hard lessons about who to trust, and the unfavored sex goes out of their way to sabotage each other. Your fellow women manipulate men to think you're not who you are, and the men don't understand because they're just enjoying life easily enough without thinking shit through.
I grew up somewhere with one of the heaviest, most noticeable imbalances in the opposite direction, upstate NY. I think this fucked me up pretty bad and women are better than men at handling being on the bad side of the imbalance. In fact, I've never even met a woman who notices these things (though most men don't either because it barely impacts mid/average people).
In fact idk if I should even tell you this or if you'll just think I'm crazy because it's somehow impossible for women to notice. But it's very noticeable and true.
I also think it's engineered on purpose by the authorities as another way to fuck things up. Back in the day when governments kinda cared about protecting the world, it seems like they actually tried to keep everywhere as balanced as they could, to avoid these cycles of sabotage and damage.
It also might be a money thing rather than a personal quality thing. Maybe the midwest has a job market that favors men more, upstate NY has a job market that favors men more, and then whatever sex has more money has the advantage. I don't know the exact underlying root cause, I just know there's a very noticeable difference of the best women in the midwest being insecure and misunderstood / the best men where I grew up being insecure and misunderstood / other places where it just seems balanced.
Typo, maybe upstate NY has a job market that favors women more
Maine where I live now seems like one of those more balanced places btw, not totally balanced though, maybe a little in favor of men
Huh this is actually a really interesting thing that I had never really considered to be quite honest
Since you have a son, I'll mention this shouldn't impact him because he has such a based mom. He should still be able to figure out who to trust and be selective about who he gives his time to, at least when the time comes. But more balanced places are healthier for everyone
The dating show is about to get technical.
