Haha. You can keep one of each type of cable. I like to put mine in ziplock bags to keep them from tangling and label it. Surely you can still get the cable online somewhere?

Always donate your cables to salvation army. If you end up needing one you can buy it back for fifty cents and you don't have to deal with the clutter.
