No I had to factory restart them after taking umbrel and pi hole off the network

Were there any custom settings lost w/ the factory reset? static routes, open ports? past that I'd look at the clients..

Ok, that doesn't prevent an NTP issue. You've described the physical layer: 3 hard wired WiFi Access Points. That doesn't mean there can't be a problem with the physical layer (I've seen sources of interference cause problems on cable before, could be solar panels or a noisy misbehaving electronic device). Could also still be NTP, just because they have a physical connection does not mean UDP NTP traffic works reliably. This specifically could cause a problem with authentication failing, and seemingly at random. Be sure they have a good time source in their configuration. Could also be that the client doesn't have a good time source. Could also be heat, is the AP in question getting hot? Is it near a heat source? What about its power supply? Could also be hardware failure of the AP itself.

I have wonder if this ap is failing due to climate conditions as it’s in my garage and it’s not conditioned… But the timing with using umbrel and Pihole is undeniable in my opinion… Power cycling helps for a bit but never permanently fixes the issue? Do you have a recommendation on a ap for outdoor conditions?

how do you use pi hole? any chance you now have two dhcp servers? most weird issues I saw were always conflicting IP addresses.

It shouldn’t matter how I used it at this point since I’ve completely reset my whole network since I had it running… I had that happen while it was running as well…

Last time I purchased any were Unified, they have some outdoor models. You could maybe probe out whether its the hardware or the heat by swapping two of the access points and see if the issue recurs and which access point does it.
