Believe it or not, some of Greg’s ideas that could be implemented today (as far as I can understand them) if we need more transactions per block have yet to be programmed but the groundwork for it has been laid (somewhere on YouTube there is a video of Greg going over space savings of cross input signature aggregation, but it requires schnorr signatures which weren’t available in the pre-segwit era). Both of these guys are fully deserving of this recognition. We are all better off on account of their work.
