You are a kind soul. This person sent me a copy-paste unsolicited DM, as I am sure they broadcasted to others. I have never interacted with them, and that's usually a red flag. I'm not saying it's a scam—I can't say for sure. But I am saying that's usually a red flag. According to the gogetfunding page, their Twitter account was suspended as a result of their posts. I also noticed the Instagram account they say they had to open as a result is now private. I don't know "Tina's mother (Pushpa)," who, according to the bio, runs the account, and they do not follow me. I have so much compassion for sick children, but I suggest potential donors do their due diligence.

I didn't think this was a scam. I thought it would be a true story. But yes, donors should findout if it is a true story or a scam. :-) I also felt compassion for this baby.

Unfortunately this was a scam. The worst kind, taking advantage of good people's humanity. People who make scams like this, pretending to be helping a sick child or animal shelter etc. These are bad people who deserve no mercy. I don't give a shit about romance scammers or Nigeria prince with a bunch of gold etc. Only stupid greedy/horny people fall for those scams. But sick kids, man it's evil to use a sick kids picture and story like this to scam people. Only good people gave them money, that's what upsets me the most. And those people who donated, if it wasn't for this scam they could have donated to someone that actually needs it etc. And when. They find out it was a scam it makes them trust less and therefore less likely to donate to the real thing in future.
