Most of the legacy apps that became popular started off with a very restricted way to share text or media:
- twitter: 140 characters
- instagram: 1 photo at a time
- vine: short video recorded in app
- snapchat: short video, shared for short period of time
I could be wrong on some of these and maybe it's not important but i think people like the challenge of creating something in a limited space to show whats possible.
Any nostr apps like this?

Fantastic question. How do you have constraints in an open multi client and multi app system?
🎯
I designed an app like this called AirNote. The idea is to share status updates much like early Twitter - with character limits.
Wish someone would develop it 🙏
People are simple. They need strict limitations when using something new
Constraints are simple. What to constrain is the harder part. It needs to basically create a new "format" that sparks creativity

Once I break ramen profitability I’m gonna go super hard on developing all things nostr.
Giving 2% of mind space daily to this question. Till then here’s a Ikigai Diagram.

It’s just a Figma file atm
POW note 😅
