I've heard this exact complaint with my married peers. The " last frontier" is an option... I do wonder if the boomers and the silent generation had the same complaint against their parents owning stuff forever until they died. It just kinda skips a whole generation because they live so long. The middle generation is serving them until they finally inherit it at 70 and already their kids are grown and wanting something. I don't know if it's a modern phenomenon or if it's always been that way and fueled frontier growth...
