Why play fiat games?
We do have apps for shorts and videos. We just need people uploading content and apparently self-hosting media is too expensive. Even for people who have been monetarising their content in our space for years. Yeah, the hypocrisies is huge.
Attention is exactly the metric Nostr shouldn't optimize for. TikTok won that war and turned a generation into dopamine hostages. Build tools people need, not the ones they're addicted to.

I'd disagree. It's a form of content that's been captured by fiat companies.

I haven't found any decent clients for shorts. Can you point me in their direction?

Sure. Dvine seems to be focusing the most on video content but we also have Flare.pub and Zap.stream does support videos and shorts as well.
