Nostr doesn’t have mainstream adoption yet but there’s no need to be bearish. We have a working protocol that lets us speak and transact freely without permission from anyone.
That makes me extremely bullish.

#Nostr is a lot more than just a Xitter clone. It gives a digital identity to a human or machine (a piece of code, hardware, website, AI agent, etc) web of trust, enables v4v in pure p2p way, solves 402 and gives the middle finger to KYC.

It’s not perfect but simple measures like filtering out anything that isn’t in your immediate network, or a couple degrees out, helps a lot. Could be done in both clients and relay.
