Carbide tipped chains took away the sharpening headache.
Soo many fucking rabbit holes!!! ππ
With carbide tipped chains you can occasionally even touch soil without losing your cutting edge. A rock will take a tooth or two but won't really blunt the chain.
Eventually you have to replace the chain - they're about 3-4 times the price off my usually chains.
Still have to be careful with them but not obsessively.
