There are certain people from the past (all of them) who talk to me the way they used to and I do not accept that anymore.
Causes big friction. People are used to an older version of me who had less boundaries. Put up with more bullshit.
Usually easier to just avoid these people entirely.

Some people never grow up. I cringe anytime I meet up with people from the past and they're still talking like we're teenagers. You're a decade older, show some growth, please.
Like when you become a manager and the supervisors still think youβre one of the boyzβ¦
People donβt like it when you upset the prior dynamic. Have had that happen a few times also.
Luckily I only met you in April so Iβm sure Iβm not the problem π

Not to imply that it would be better, but life sure would be easier sometimes if you could pick your family the way you can pick your friends.
