A really common rule of thumb is to do what your ancestors did.
So your choices are putting fermentation items in your ass.. (other than OP numerous posts, im not even aware of this option)

you could just eat less processed foods and increase ferments.
SIBO is often a completely different bacteria type that belongs deep in the large intestine.
It happens over time because of a highly processed diet with too much sugar.
I do agree that probiotic supplements are a waste of time/money.
Stomach acids kills most or all with no benefit.
If you want to nudge your gut biome in the right direction, eat fermented fibrous vegetables that can hide in the fiber and get into the gut.

Iβm not about eating a lot of kimchi.
Eating less processed foods is a step, but our ancestors didn't eat ferments, they ate animal products.
