I’m definitely planting Black Futso squash again this year. Prolific, keeper, tastes similar to butternut but fast growing for my Maine growing season.

kinda looks like a mix between butternut and acorn. I am intrigued.
Yes! A bit drier than butternut, but has that sweet delicate flavor. I dry farm and we had a dry summer and they were prolific!

Love it! Such a beautiful winter squash! Wish we’d be able to grow pumpkins- only a matter of time each season that the squash beetles get to them and kill them all!
I understand , I’ve had similar troubles recently with Japanese beetles in my grapes and raspberries.
