Great law! It really would’ve been cool if they just said through one having cycle. I think someone needs to propose that here for the US no tax if you can hold bitcoin through a having cycle, full having cycle that is…
I understand. I guess it’s not for everyone. Perhaps they want to build low time preference plebs and long term stackers. It is easy for me as I have not touched my stack in over 7 years. But I understand why other people may find it difficult. 🙂
Not saying this is bad, it's definitely a huge step in the right direction and would love to see it happening in every country

Great for them. If they also have tax free sells up to a threshold then the combination would amazing. I live in Canada where it is all cap gains. As #bitcoin related technologies progress, it has become completely unacceptable.

I’m confused here. What do you mean by “tax free sells” Isn’t the whole point of saying no capital gains tax on 3+ years of holding equivalent to saying tax free sells after 3+ years of holding?

I’m talking about the scenario where someone doesn’t wait 3 years and wants to sell a portion. As an example, the government could allow $10,000 a year tax free.

I’ll be at the conference this June.🙌 I might not leave! Anyone willing to hire a soon to be American refugee? 😅
