Can we all agree there are far more male than female Bitcoiners in general? Let me be clear, there are for sure a lot of female Bitcoiners, but the difference is massive. Can anyone offer an explanation of why this is still the case in 2025?

There are more male computer programmers too, so whatever differences lead to that, probably also lead to this. Not sure how much is really known on this topic
Its still geeklandia, we are making very slow progress with the user experience...
perhaps males tend to have a higher risk taking interest from evolution
Men think logically.
Women think emotionally.
Bitcoin doesn't care.
So it appeals to men more.
Women aren’t protectors/providers by their nature. Men by nature gravitate towards effective and logical methods of providing and protecting for themselves and their families. #Bitcoin is one of the most logical ways for men to fortify the financial position of himself and his family.
Women are much more appealed to nurturing and empathy towards their family and don’t typically pursue the logical and calculating aspects of caring for themselves and their family, as men typically do.
There are other reasons, but I believe this is the main driver of this trend.
This was what I had to say. It's still deep nerd territory where there tend to be less women than men.
It may change over time, but I'm pessimistic.
