Most of the CIA propagandists are almost always portrayed as "former CIA / former informant" etc. That way they gain the public trust while at the same time spreading the states seeds. These are two great examples. Eg
I don’t think he’s actually CIA. More likely an asset than on the payroll. He’s just kind of a useful idiot-savant-boomer. I’ve wondered more than once about Joe Rogan.
Stamets? I base it on two things I think are true, (but it is still a jump from these to he CIA) : I think most of the left is guided by the deep state - the jargon, the activism, its all too convenient for the state. Stamets says all the magic lefty words - capitalism bad, colonialism bad, all the racial nonsense, etc.. And I think the state benefits from people not believing reality is real. Shrooms seem to he very beneficial in certain contexts, but one of their effects is that reality seems less real. Whether it actually is real doesn't matter - what matters is that the state benefits from people not believing in reality. 'Monopsychism' is the term.
Generally the comments sniff it out too. Both those episodes the comments are filled with people calling them phony. I tend to agree.
