Bitcoin mining doesn’t have to be successful. Most of it loses money. Notice how he argues for L2 development, but none of the Ordinals/Inscriptions/Citrea applications are build or shipped on L2. It happens on L1 where it does the maximum amount of damage and centralises the protocol.
Mind boggling to me how very few Bitcoiners today understand this or even care about this. Saylor wants to make BTC like Ethereum

If Bitcoin is money then it’s a good enough reward for the miners. Can always spot the feds at the meetups when they start talking about, “all the cool things we could do with Bitcoin [if we fuck up the base chain].”
