Quite the opposite
hokay. "shit out this app." man that was enjoyable. devs are puzzle solvers. if it's done for me, where's the enjoyment? I'm not saying it isn't a good tool or anything, but prompt engineering is boring as hell.
Sure for low quality vibe coding it takes the fun away.
But for real professional complex applications it makes the work a lot less menial. Engineering problems can be focused on while necessary but tedious tasks can be outsourced.
yeah I disagree. the more complex the ask, the more likely it's gonna do it wrong. meaning I have now just turned into a PR reviewer.
Thatβs not what Iβm saying anyone should do. Ever. Vibe coding complex apps is guaranteed to build up insurmountable tech debt.
However, in the development of a complex application, AI assistance allows the dev team to focus on the harder/fun problems because it keeps them away from time consuming, boring, SIMPLE, & repetitive work.
