Update. After 7 days I got my first. Was watching him for a good 30 minutes right below my glassing area and then moved into the thick reprod. So I moved down to keep a visual. Took my pack off and shoes when I was within 150 yards of where I last saw him. Snuck up this little ridge below my glassing area and peered over, nothing. Walked a little more, still nothing. I thought I lost him over the ridge and went to move to another high spot when I heard something to my right and knew I messed up, put my release on my knock, watched antlers topping out above the aspen reprod as he ran a J hook opposite of me. I knew I wouldn’t have time to range him if he was going to stop and get a look before running off. As soon as he came out of the reprod on the other side he stopped to look at me canted broadside 35-40 yards, released the arrow, went right through his lungs. From the moment I heard him to the moment I released an arrow felt like 5 seconds. It all happened so quick. Feeling blessed and thankful #huntstr #vlog
