i've done the math and the best weapon against these clankers would actually be napalm. creates smoke to obscure vision, melts plastic joints and wires, overheats batteries. you could make a shotgun out of super basic metal pipes and shit and fire flaming balls of plastic at them and that would be the end of the story

You're not always going to have napalm. Terrain is a big factor too, these things lose their upper ground when you take them out of an urban/indoor setting.

Mans superior range of motion could be a potential force multiplier in the right setting. Climbing tree to tree and dropping rocks for example.
