It's finally here. After nine and a half months of hard work, a full restart after the 1st month, and coming close to quitting 3 different times, the 1.0 version of one of the most sovereign Nostr clients is out. It's available on Linux, Mac, the web, and GrapheneOS. It might even run on Android if you're lucky. You can grab it from Zapstore or get the APK file directly, but it'll never be on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. No Google services at all, not even a quick look. MIT license, over 160 features, including a bunch you've never seen anywhere else and probably couldn't have imagined. No funding, no investors, no team, no company. Well, just my one-man company. No outside influence, but a ton of user requests built in. 10 months ago I said I should build a client. I wanted to see if I could do it. Now it's done. Ladies and gentlemen, here it is, all grown up and ready for you: NoorNote 1.0! image

Looks great man!!! I can't imagine the amount of hard work this took. I've really been enjoying it so far. Is there a way to make the images load by default? I turned off data saver but still have to click on most images before they load. Maybe I did something wrong. Congrats on the release!!!
Thanks sir. If you've already loaded the timeline with Data Saver on and then turn it off, it only affects new notes you load after that. Or you can just pull down to refresh the whole timeline.

That makes sense, thanks so much!!!
Outstanding job! Thank you for the user requests and how quickly you put them in and I have asked for a handful for sure. The new UI and themes look great. Thank you! One more request, tabs.
I figure tabs similar to a standard browser across the top but you can open up a few (let's not get crazy) things at a time like a main feed, notifications, and someone you might follow. As an example maybe I have made a bang up post or reply that I want to copy/paste to another reply and I do not want to flip back and forth. At this point it would be a better work flow option at times. Just something to ponder is all.
Have you tried Settings -> UI Settings -> Layout Mode: "Right pane"? Try it and open a few notes from your timeline.
Downloaded it from zapstore, followed the wizard with a temp new keypair, and at the final stage "Save & Go to Timeline" it does nothing... Tried the webapp, same happens. Setup stops there and temp account is lost (did not saved nsec on purpose...). Just reporting! Good job, nice website ๐Ÿ‘
It works close to have a tab might work but it's difficult to control. I use my back mouse button all the time and it seems to get confused on what "tab" I'm on. It seems to be close though and could work if I played with it a bit more.
