The most evil thing about fiat is that it makes most people think capitalism failed them when in reality it was socialism in disguise.

Conflation of fiat with capitalism is an abject disaster.
Joseph Schumpeter made the argument the capitalism was so effective/efficient that socialism was the logical successor. His argument had more to do with human nature than with currencies.
And ironically pushes them more towards socialism & communism
Capitalism and Fiat goes together , one can't live without the other ....we need to create something better !
