Yes. I sit zazen for 40 minutes every morning. I have been doing it for 16 years. Haven't missed a day. Life seemed to became fuller and deeper after I started. So I didn't stop. I can't imagine life without it now. A big inspiration for me was Brad Warner's book, "Sit Down and Shut Up." “Life seemed to became fuller and deeper after I started.” I really needed to hear this today. I’ve mediated most days for the past 7 years. I had a streak of 1000 days at one point. I’ve been inconsistent and for me I can feel it by about 3-4 pm each day when I skipped it 9-10 hours earlier. I’m a bit irritable and not at all calm. 40 minutes for 16 years is an unbelievable streak, and especially to sit zazen. Thank you for this note. 🙏🏻👊
