The jubilee mass debt forgiveness was seen for thousands of years as a necessary move to keep the underclasses pacified. The modern oligarchs no longer fear the masses. They dismiss us and despise us. They want us to disappear and that's why they work so hard to replace human labor with robots and "artificial intelligence"
