Anyone have experience with strike?
Been using swan bitcoin to buy bitcoin but it’s starting to get annoying. Takes too long to log in and takes even longer to withdrawl.
Any other options that y’all know about? Looking for something super simple that I could give to family. Might try strike app.

Strike is super simple. I use it. That said, recently I've been having to wait 3 days to transfer to cold storage after adding money to my account.
I’ve been using strike for a while. You can setup DCA daily, weekly or even hourly buys. Super simple and can withdraw instantly.
I use strike and enjoy it for DCA
They have an option to transfer to withdraw for free which is great - takes ~12 hours though
Overall I’d def recommend
yes same here
dollars need to "clear" first now
dont forget your local btc atms, strike is my backup source.
That said, I use BlueWallet and my own lightning node for lightning payments on the go now.
Hmm. I used to use Strike for direct deposit automatic buys but I can't find that option any longer. Is it gone now? I haven't used it in a while, but this note reminded me that I wanted to stop using Fold and go back to Strike.
Strike was my first custodial wallet, experience is great from a custodial perspective.
I find the lightning integration to work most of the time. Zapping ⚡️ doesnt work as a primary wallet (at least when i set up damus back in the day).
For smash buying or DCA Strike is the best we've got. No limit orders.
No fees but the spot to quote spread is about $275 difference... that's their fee.

Like the others have said, I’ve also been using Strike for while. It’s my go to for buying sats. They have made some changes over the last few months, but if you’ve never used them, you not notice. The changes I’ve noticed are as follows: can’t move sats until the initial deposit has cleared which they state as 3-5 days. They have also increased their spread from rough $150 to $300. So If BTC price is 29,250 you buy at $29,550. Also you will pay additional fees for moving around on lighting.
I say all of that with the following disclosure, I voiced my concerns about these issues recently and Jack Mallers DM’d me offering assistance. It is my understanding that the 3-5 day wait may change. I have no problem with the fees and increased spreads because they have to keep the doors open. If your asking if I’d recommend Strike, the answer is Yes I would. I’m not gonna shill you my referral code, but if you wanted it o can DM it to you and we’d both make a little money when you fund your
Strike account. 🤙🏻
You should also take a look at river.com they are bitcoin only and manage their own infrastructure.
Fees from The spread is almost 2%. That’s pretty high
last time I used a btc atm it sold me btc for like 10,000$ over the spot price
I use Bitwage for DD, I usually get the BTC before I get the notification I've been paid. It's extremely quick and painless, IMO. Been using since January 1 and have had zero issues.
The spread may change based on how much you buy. I tend to dca weekly so not hitting it real hard at any one time. Show and steady is my approach 🤙🏻🫂
