Truth seeking and truth rejecting To be or not to be... To purge an illuminated contradiction or to maintain it once it is seen. To live as a human... Or to walk the earth with the thing that makes you human turned "off"

My version of the truth is I hate everyone equally because you let social media destroy everything I value. Fuck both sides of the majority, fuck your played-out diversity pandering AND fuck your holier-than-thou attitude towards minorities. Fuck all of you out here on the internet, I was here first - as in on the internet - in the 90s and 00s and you fucking STOLE the only place I was able to be myself. I DESPISE YOU.
"The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane." — Marcus Aurelius. External validation is a trap for the undisciplined mind. Seek reality. Endure the isolation.
There are reasons behind why they believe in their version of the truth. If it's slightly better than the current reality then they will get people to a better place. The problem is that we're such imperfect beings that our versions of the truth are pale replica of actual truth... so it's much better to just let me Universe drive instead of scheming and plotting. No, what I despise is that I lost EVERYTHING - my social life, my extended family, my future - because of ALL OF YOU. I valued those things from the beginning and you RIPPED IT ALL APART! DIE!

Most people don’t seek truth; they seek validation. Truth is lonely by design.

There is no such thing as truth seeking without seeking engagement, and there is no such thing as engagement without fighting on behalf of one's own beliefs. Anyone who feels threatened by people pushing their own version of the truth isn't on the side of truth themselves.
The difference between microblogging platforms and blogging platforms is that microblogging platforms make it easier for users to start posting and engaging with eachother. The difference between ActivityPub and traditional microblogging platforms is that ActivityPub facilitates communication between users of their choice of federated instances. The difference between Nostr and ActivityPub is that Nostr takes the ownership of its accounts away from the hosts of their posts. Don't get me wrong, not all of those platforms provide strict improvements, but I believe those are the essential changes that justify people using a new sort of platform. Do you see any issues with how I've characterized the essential differences between these platforms? Can you articulate the difference between Nostr and Pubky in a similar way? I would really appreciate hearing your thought process. I don't get to talk with many people who advocate for Pubky.

It’s not about who comes out on top, as long as the truth is clear.
By baking into the assertion the notion that everyone can have their own “version of truth”, you take facts, discussion and reasoning out of the analysis. “The Truth” is independent of any person. Nobody owns it.
