Days like this remind me we are still so early. I had troubles the last fee-spike so I split up my options. we don’t have a dependable Lightning Swiss Army knife yet. I personally should have better backup plans and use different companies and ideas for different situations including running my own lightning node (which I do). Or maybe even use Ecash The Self custody Lightning Swiss Army knife app that always works may never happen .
nah muun is a solid wallet as long as you understand how it works. i've used it for years and have made many txs with it and have never had a problem. definitely not a great wallet to accept small lightning tips though.

Hopefully they have learned some better options now, especially mutiny if you're in Austin of all places.

Permission to ask a basic question you all seem to understand 🙋‍♂️… why are Muun lightning fees higher than other lightning apps?
Honestly, while down in El Salvador I got converted to Blink (formerly Bitcoin Beach Wallet), and I love it for being the “download and it does what you want” app. Zeus, Muun, Blue Wallet, Phoenix are all on my phone, and I appreciate them for what they do. Blink is an app you can tell a bartender to download, and send them sats 1 minute later. My 2 sats, I’m not an expert.
Muun is not really a lightning wallet but an on-chain wallet which swaps all incoming lightning txs into on-chain txs and when you pay using lightning, you send on-chain to swap into lightning and have the invoice paid for you. No more efficient than paying on-chain for everything.
